AI scan prompts are designed to flag items for your own review. AI tools can miss real problems. They can flag things that are perfectly fine. Their output is never a green light to send money or sign a lease. Always verify with the landlord or property manager. Always take a lease to your installation's legal assistance office (JAG) before you sign anything.

What you must do yourself

• Verify every listing independently — ownership, address, live walkthrough, county assessor, reverse-image search
• Confirm all terms in writing — rent, fees, deposit, military clause, utilities, pet policy
• Take any lease to JAG before signing— your installation's legal assistance office reviews leases; use them
• Contact your installation housing office (HSO) when required by your branch or base policy
